When we look back at our history here at GPE, we never would have known that we would be selling autonomous mowing solutions. When we first saw the Husqvarna Automower we had no idea that we would be one of the biggest supporters and promoters of robotics in our industry. We are now installing many automowers, from the smallest to the largest units. We have installed 315x units and we have installed many 450x units that can handle up to 1.25 acres! This year the AWD 435x came out and we have been blown away that it can handle up to 70% grades!
The automower is not a new concept. This was started in Europe by Husqvarna back in the 90’s. Since then there have been many upgrades and changes. Leading us all the way to the most capable and productive lawn solutions the world has ever seen. Then you combine that with industry leading communication and remote integration and you get the Husqvarna Automower.
Husqvarna Automower does not mow in your typical fashion. We have changed a lot in the last 20 years as a people group. Shouldn't your lawn mower? Husqvarna Automower is going to learn your lawn as it mows. It can tell that there is mowing to be done by the resistance on the mower blades. When it knows there is resistance there, then it knows it needs to keep mowing. This is called your weather timer. This is why the mowers will mow very often in peak growing seasons. Then, at other times, you will hardly recognize it leaving the charging station. No worries either way, it will charge and repeat this cycle completely by itself. On the X versions you can simply log onto the app and see how often it is running, change settings, even change the mow height.
